FOR more than four decades, the Playboy Mansion has loomed over Hollywood, giving credibility to the self-created legend of Playboy impresario Hugh Hefner as the ultimate octogenarian Lothario.

An invite to one of his legendary parties would guarantee Champagne, celebrity guests and a devoted harem of beautiful blonde women, known as Hefner’s ‘girlfriends’.

Now, in a tell-all book, one of the girlfriends, Holly Madison, 35, blasts away any veneer of respectable glamour that Hefner or the mansion may have once enjoyed.

Madison’s new life is miles away from the Playboy Mansion, despite the fact that when we talk, she’s in an LA car park not far from where she spent seven years (2001 to 2008) in Hefner’s fantasy world.
