While Brisbane-born Bree will continue her international modelling career, now she also has plenty of modelling jobs in Australia. It wasn’t always like that. When she first started modelling eight years ago, despite her exquisite features, it was hard for her to get work because she was a size 12 to 14. “I had to go overseas and make it happen over there because the market for my size wasn’t really developed here,” she says.

International model Bree Warren, 30, has had a crazy busy year. In between dashing between Australia, the US, Europe, Mexico and the Greek Islands, shooting major campaigns for the likes of Asos, Forever 21, Ralph Lauren, Nordstrom, and Australia’s Tigerlily and Lorna Jane, shooting for Marie Claire, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Women’s Health; she also got engaged to her boyfriend of six years, builder Mitch McCann in February and bought a house in Noosa, Queensland.

“My life has been pretty hectic, and I haven’t been in the one place for more than a week,” says Warren. “My career has been the busiest it has ever been. I’ve had my belongings all over the world, so to finally have somewhere to unpack my clothes and have everything in the one place is amazing. I’ve been craving it for a long time.”
